School is cool ... but it could be cooler

As you know, the summer months in Chicago can be brutally hot. With temperatures often surpassing 80 degrees and high rates of humidity, it is no wonder that people seek the sanctuary of air-conditioned locations. Unfortunately, however, we do not have that luxury as we do not have air conditioning units or central air. 

We recently explored the possibility of installing units in every room. Including the units, the frames and brackets, and the wiring, the total cost of this project is estimated to be $10,000. This is a very obtainable amount.
